Gratitude Challenge – Day Forty: What we appreciate, appreciates

by mindfulhub on June 12, 2012

This isn’t a push for saving money, rather another way to state Hebb’s axiom:  ”Neurons that fire together, wire together.”   During the last forty days of the gratitude challenge, perhaps you noticed that the more you were grateful, the more you have to be grateful for.  This is the exponential power of Gratitude….  and mindfulness.  In fact, after doing the forty day challenge, I wonder if mindfulness and gratitude are not synonyms?

The gratitude challenge is over.  My life is no less complicated or messy than it was at the beginning of the challenge, and yet even through all the chaos I sense a slight orientation toward more ease and contentment.

We urge you to continue with your gratitude practice, or some form of mindfulness, in order to increase the amount of joy in your life, and the lives of those around you.

Needs some help with your practice?  Contact us.

We wish you twenty minutes of mindfulness everyday.
