For Health Care Professionals – Personal and Clinical Mindfulness Resources
As health care professionals, feeling focused day in and day out can be a challenge. Adding mindfulness to your professional practice can be the antidote to exhaustion as well as aid in the prevention of chronic stress and compassion fatigue.
Part of our mission at mindful hub is to support health professionals in clinical settings. Whether you are a nurse, psychotherapist, physician or physical therapist, mindfulness can help you make better clinical decisions and foster your own self-care. Mindfulness can also be taught to your patients as an adjunct to other therapies.
“You know the antidote to exhaustion is not necessarily rest…The antidote to exhaustion is wholeheartedness… You are only half here, and half here will kill you after a while…You must do something heartfelt and you must do it soon.”
- a conversation between David Whyte and Brother David Steindal-Rast
